Azita Ghanizada

Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has appeared in many television programs. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents fled to the US where they were granted asylum. Her parents raised her two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera work by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character in Chiara an appearance for which she won an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. She was also a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she had the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was telecast on primetime television. In the second season, Night Shift, Ghanizada was the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada was added to HBO Entourage's crew in 2009 as Kelly.
